Unsubscribe:

The system has an automated unsubscribe link attached at the foot of all emails sent using this tool.

email Collection:

eButtonz collects emails on your behalf in the e-wallet - to see how many email addresses are stored click the count button in the Newsletter/ Mailing List (log on to your eButtonz account and select "Email Customers")

Adding newsletter sign-up forms:

You can add newsletter sign up forms that are integrated with the eButtonz system to your web pages by using either the code supplied at the top of the page (Click here for code ) or by selecting: "Include newsletter sign-up in totals frame Yes" at the foot of the page.

Uploading email addresses:

To upload your list use the "Upload addresses" feature of the Mailing List Management Tool

Each address can be on a separate line or separated by commas, spaces or semicolons.

Use only the bare email address. e.g.
customer@hisdomain.com
not
"A Customer" <customer@hisdomain.com>

Duplicates:

Addresses will be automatically de-duplicated.

Use the Search Database Count button to find out the number of email addresses you have after de-duping. You can see the addresses by clicking "List"

Compatability:

The HTML version of the newsletter is compatible with Outlook Express and other email software but not all. Here is a list of email software with known issues:

• AOL

Track results:

You can track clickthroughs and purchases resulting from this email by using the affiliate system. Assign a dummy affiliate code to the email and make all the hyperlinks in it use the code.
